  3. I bought one of their 88 dollar mattresses for a twin day bed. You can feel the springs in the mattress and within an hour of laying on it you are in pain. Their return policy will cost you 120.00. Rip off!!!

  4. I bought a lemon of a couch for over $800. My fiancé was such a fan that she bought the same exact couch for her place. The recliner has never worked on mine!! I made 3 service calls and they even took it for a week to repair! It still didn't work and I told the delivery guys that. They just shrugged their shoulders!! It's less than 2 years old. The manager basically said to eff-off. What a SAD place!

  5. Bought a clearance center couch, added the teflon spray and insurance (the guy literally said the furniture has no warranty otherwise - what kind of place doesn't even offer 30 days? Oh yeah, one that sells crap hardwood furniture which is supposed to be good but is put-together halfass). Not even a day or two went by, the rear center supporting whateveritis is almost tearing a hole in the rear vinyl, my dog's drool can leave hard marks on the soft material (so did they actually teflon coat it?), oh, and the bottom covered portion of it looked like it was stapled well for the first half, but the second half they got tired and basically said "fuck it."

I know all of this because we opted to get a Home Depot truck to deliver it instead of paying 100$ and waiting 3 days and had to screw on the feet ourselves. If I have time I'll let you know how the warranty claim worked out. This damage most likely occurred putting it up on its side to get it into the house...but damn, shouldn't a NEW couch be able to handle that?

  6. You get what you pay for. I work for av as a driver. If you don't like it go somewhere else Its just furniture. You use it. It will get marks on it. Just live with it damn.

    1. It's rather obvious that you drive a truck for "av" since your fifth grade punctuation indicates you couldn't secure a real job. Keep on trucking with you piss pore attitutude there Einstein!

    2. You are absolutely correct. You most certainly get what you pay for, you buy cheap, you get cheap. Problem is, Art Van doesnt stand behind their replacement contract or their low quality furniture. I am not a pig, dont have any children, dont own any pets, dont abuse or miss use my stuff, work 60 hrs/week, had it delivered and assembled, tipped the gentlemen that did it amd now I have a shitty looking dinning set that I will have to replace out of pocket. DONT PUSH A REPLACEMENT CONTRACT IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF HONORING IT

  7. You people kill me. You want to save a buck so you pick it up yourself. When you fuck it up you blame the store so you don't have to pay for it. A year later when YOU don't take care of it and call for service and say ( we never use it I don't no why this is doing this) and its falling apart from your bastard kids and dogs jumping all over it and treating it like the trash you are, you want it fixed for free. If you people weren't the pigs that you are maybe your stuff would last a while

  13. If you want to save money and create a one-of-a-kind bassinet that matches the nursery decor, making your own is the only way
to go. In choosing a pram, first of all you need to make a decision as
to what features you want. Then, when the time comes for the
baby to be placed in the crib to sleep, it makes for an easy transition as the bassinet can be placed within the crib until the infant becomes more comfortable in this newer space.

  14. ART VAN furniture is horrible. I've worked there and there's so many horrible things I can say about this PIECE OF CRAP COMPANY. I don't know about day shift but night shift sucks. The "bosses" get paid salary which means they get paid the same if they are there for 1 hour or 10 hours while the "slaves" get paid hourly. They work you as hard and fast as they can so u get paid less and they don't have to "work" that long but still get paid

  15. Do not buy a matress there. I bought a $4000 mattress. When you lay on it you sink - BRAND NEW OMG - and I weigh 130 pounds!!! There warranty tech came out a few weeks after I bought it and told me normal wear and tear???? Seriously so wrong. I had not choice but to exchange for a new one $120 and the second was worse!!! And then they said FU cuz they weren't going to bring a new one. The salesman just basically blew me off when I went back to talk to him. Worst company in Michigan..now I see they are in chicago...good luck

  16. I bought a $3000 leather couch and recliner from Art Van. After 1 year the seams between the cushions on the couch started to rip away at the leather. I have never saw anything like this on a couch happen in my entire life. It's almost like they didn't use enough leather and stretched it too tightly to accommodate the cushioning. The couch is barely used because it is also extremely uncomfortable, so this problem didn't come from excessive wear and tear. The recliner chair of the same brand and set doesn't have this problem and it is used all the time. I'm convinced the couch is defective. Of course Art Van won't do anything other than send a repair man out at my cost of $65.00 just to come look at it and then other charges on top of that for them to fix it. This company is a joke and doesn't stand behind their products at all. I also purchased a $1000 memory foam mattress from them that after 1 year of sleeping on it became hard as concrete. Again they did nothing and I eventually just went elsewhere and bought a new mattress. Moral of this story is just don't buy furniture from Art Van it will not last and they will not do anything to fix their crap merchandise when it fails.
